Life at Octola is shaped by the seasons, with each bringing its own extraordinary rhythm. Winter reveals a snow-covered wonderland, with Northern Lights dancing overhead and days filled with snowshoeing, cross-country skiing, husky encounters, reindeer experiences, ice swimming and private sauna rituals. As the seasons shift, summer and autumn unveil a softer side of the wilderness, defined by the Midnight Sun, forest foraging, nature walks and crystal-clear Arctic air.

Octola Private Wilderness is now home to three distinct retreats — Octola I, Octola II and the newly introduced Octola III — each offering the same philosophy of discreet luxury, exceptional service and complete privacy.

Octola I, the original lodge, is designed for both grand gatherings and intimate escapes. The 10-bedroom Lodge is available for exclusive use, complemented by a two-bedroom Super Suite Villa and a one-bedroom Glass Igloo Suite. Guests can also enjoy dedicated time at Octola Spa and Health Clinic, and multiple private saunas creating spaces that feel quietly refined, and deeply connected, to the surrounding wilderness.

For those seeking even greater seclusion, Octola II sits apart within its own private setting. Comprising a five-bedroom Ultra Lodge and a two-bedroom Super Suite Villa, it offers enhanced privacy, generous living spaces and an in-house spa, all within the wider Octola wilderness.

Then comes Octola III, a completely different expression of the Octola philosophy. Set near Hetta, high in the fells of Enontekiö at around 500 metres above sea level, the new three-bedroom retreat sits on the site of a former radar station within a protected Sámi wilderness area. Opening in December 2026 and welcoming just six guests, it is designed for an exceptionally intimate experience, with sweeping views towards the mountains of Norway and Sweden. A private chef and dedicated host accompany every stay, while a wood-burning sauna and ice-swimming pond bring a distinctly Nordic approach to wellbeing.
